Venue: Nacala Porto
Organisation: WCS Blue Future Project
The main purpose of the Advisory Committee meeting was to share the progress of the first year of the project and plan for the following year, mainly through recommendations from the committee members to the Blue Future project management team. During the two-day meeting, there was an in-depth immersion in the project’s baseline studies, the first start-up activities and the field implementation of the Blue Future project, with various comments and contributions for a better understanding and proposals for improvements that could be adopted in the second year of the project. The detailed analysis of these studies and the way in which the field activities began provided CAFA members with “insights” that will certainly play a crucial role in guiding the next stages of the project.
